Groups

And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.

Acts 2:42, 46-47

Connection & Community

Following the way of Jesus often happens best when we're with other believers. In groups we practice community, prayer and accountability as we learn together.

Our groups are designed to care for people, foster relationships, and encourage spiritual growth. And together our groups share the love of Jesus with others.

We have three types of groups for you to explore:

Community Groups, Care Groups, and Class Groups.

We pray that you'll join one of our groups and through life shared with others, you'll discover more of what Jesus desires for you in your faith!

Community Groups

Community groups are a spiritual family gathered around a table where you can find a purpose and place to belong.

They practice the 4 areas of Acts 2:42 (study, fellowship, table, and prayer) in a balanced format, and also look out for the needs of others (Philippians 2:4).

Care Groups

Care groups meet for a specified time to minister to those in a particular season or circumstance, with the goal to care for and support the broken hearted and help them discover how Jesus can bring healing to the brokenhearted (Luke 4:18).

DivorceCare would be an example of a Care Group.

Class Groups

Class groups meet together during a set time frame for the primary purpose of studying the scriptures (Acts 17:11)  to learn how to apply it to a specific area of their lives.

These classes can include deeper scriptural study, our inductive Bible Study group in Spanish, or special circumstances (premarital counseling) and specific areas like finances or parenting.

Facilitate or Host

Bring People Together

As people look for community, we're looking for people who help lead conversations about Jesus and the scriptures. Facilitators bring people together and invite folks to speak up so the group can learn and grow together.

Or perhaps you'd love to host a group in your home but not facilitate it.  Hosts can create an inviting space for people to gather so spiritual growth can happen. We're praying for more places for groups to gather across South Florida.
